Job Title: Maintenance Technician / Oven-Smoker Operator

Reports To: Plant Manger

SUMMARY

This position is an important part of the maintenance and operations team. This position will be assigned responsibilities primarily in maintenance and operations as needed. This position will assist operations through maintenance activities, purchasing maintenance items and providing the accounting / administrative group information as needed such as purchase orders. This position will also perform cook operations and assist the operations management as needed.

In addition, this position will be responsible for performing month-end inventory tasks including; taking the actual physical inventory counts, inputting the counts, keeping maintenance inventory organized and other duties as requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· All facets of maintenance activities as directed by the operations leader or the general manager

· Performing inventory counts, data input and keeping inventory organized

· Purchasing maintenance and capex materials & services as directed by the Plant manager

· Back up / weekend cook samples and other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Operations Leader or General Manager.

· Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Maintenance of food equipment

Purchasing activities

Electrical experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

CONTACTS:

Position interacts with internal customers and minimal vendors.

MATHEMATICAL/FINANCIAL SKILLS:

Basic math skills – able to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Capable of working with percentages

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply disciplined knowledge to analyze and resolve problems.

Ability to reason with employees and resolve issues.

Full time regular position that works Monday through Friday and weekends as needed, generally 8 hours per day, with some overtime. Travel is between 0% and 10% this position.
